A music fan’s trip to Doylestown would be incomplete without a visit to Siren Records, one of the best record stores in the area, if not the Northeast US. Whether you’re looking to simply browse for a few artists you heard on WXPN or you’re a hardcore vinyl collector willing to drop some serious cash on a rare find, this shop is worth the trip.

The grand reopening extravaganza for Doylestown’s Siren Record’s new location was the perfect welcome back. The concert spanned the entire first weekend of December.

On Dec. 1, also First Friday in Doylestown, the lineup included Christina Ward, Drink Up Buttercup, Honey Church and Aderbat. The music continued into Dec. 2, when France on Fire, Illinois and House of Fire took the stage. The weekend concluded Dec. 3 with Peasant, Screaming Females and Univox.
